Horrible
My dad had planned to buy us a nintendo (me and my sister paying 100 each)
But he took a look at my grade and saw an F so he cancelled everything, took away my computer only leaving me with my school computer, and then banned me from making christmas cookies with my younger sister. I honestly have had no motivation these days to do my work so I told my teacher who for now put and F until I finish it but my dad thought I was slacking off and I’ve been crying for 3 hours, I understand the taking my computer away but me and my sister have been planning on making cookies for 2 weeks we even wrote the ingredients and now I’m not allowed to make them.
I am so sorry to know that. It is definitely tough specially when you are looking forward to something for so long. Try to understand that your father’s extreme reaction may have had an underlying reason. Try communicating, find a time during the day when you and your father are both calm and talk to him about how he should allow you to make cookies with your sister., if not just ask if you can be present while she bakes them or help her with icing( Find a middle ground). Try explaining to him the reason behind your F grade and talk about any help you need and how you will improve.
Please do not get disheartened, be aware that a lot of situations arise in life, you are strong enough to overcome them and excel in life.
