Hi, i feel covid anxiety.

What if i or a loved one gets it.

I had to travel in emergency some days back, and lucky i was safe through the airport and flight and with me there were many travelling.
But now, i have to go back, and the fear doesn’t seem much helpful.

Chalo, this is toh while travelling, generally also the pandemic is insane and having its effects on me and everyone around. The damn isolation.
It feels so lonely when u can’t meet or greet anyone.
Missing the human touch.

While tragedies in my life, my dysfunctional family seems endless, and i have been in survival mode for far too long…it crippples me that how i’m writing this note in middle of the night…and now the whole world and we all have come to survival mode and this whole pandemic seems endless.

Sigh. Does anyone get me?

Although you miss human touch, you still have a chance to connect mentally. Please don’t feel bad about writing a note when you are feeling vulnerable. Here I am, responding to you. I do feel like I get you.

It is easy to dwell and get drawn into the negative aspects of our lives when we are feeling down and disconnected. If left unchallenged, these thoughts can become huge and we lose the big picture. I imagine that the tragedy and dysfunction you have experienced have made you stronger and more resilient.

The unknown is incredibly scary. We can think about “what ifs” for days and drive ourselves into feeling hopeless. The truth of the matter is we have no idea what will happen and a lot of the time all the worry and anxiety is for nothing.

Think of what you can control right now. From what I can see, you can control your own actions to protect yourself the best you can while traveling by wearing a mask, not touching your face, and washing your hands. You can control how big of a part of your life your past owns.

Look around yourself in your day to day life and find three things you are grateful for. Do this daily. That helps me when I feel hopeless.

As an aside, I contracted Covid 2 months ago. Although it was quite terrible at the time, I made it through to the other side and am still here to tell the tale. The percentage of those that have life threatening experiences is relatively low.

Good luck to you. I hope you find a way to have some peace with the current state of events! Good vibes being sent your way.
