Hi, i am studying grade 12, i do well in all my subjects, i like them all pretty much equally and i have no interests outside of academics. i wanted to do medicine but i don’t want to study so many years and i want to settle as soon as possible. My next option is computer science engineering however i absolutely hate computer science and i don’t know if i’ll cope with it in university even if i get good marks in school. what should i choose? By the way, money in a career field is a priority for me as i anyways don’t have a dream or passion to follow and don’t want to live like my parents.

Hey, maybe,it’s really okay to be confused some times and especially at your age or at any age for that matter.
Umm, I guess, you could talk to your seniors or even people who currently are working in various sectors. You’ll get a clear insight into various disciplines or sectors. Ofcourse there are formal counselling agency too where you could go and figure out your strengths in which you can excel.
Surfing the web, building network, talking to people around you but most importantly introspection.
Since, you’re already good at studies, you’ve an added advantage to be whatever you want.

Well I am not quite sure but in my opinion you should do something that makes you happy. I know choosing a career can be really tough but just like how @sneha08 told I guess it’s better if you talk to your seniors or people who are working in that aspect. Depending on their advice you can start planning and it would be great if you set yourself a goal. This way you will be motivated to achieve it.
I just wanted to share something, it was told by someone special to me.
