Hi. I am a doctor. I just finished my MBBS and now preparing for PG entrance. I have been studying a lot. But obviously that’s not enough. It’s because it is one of the toughest exams for us. There are some days when i don’t study at all and take breaks in between, but then i feel guilty about it. Normally also, i dont study all day all night, like how my friends are studying right now. 12-14 hours a day. And they are scoring better in Mock exams too. I was serving in Covid wards all these months and didnt get much time to study. I am just stressed and I dont know what to do. I have been an average student throughout my life and I kind of feel like this is the only chance I have to prove something. Its not that i dont study or I over study. But i am never AT PEACE. NEVER. I just cant tell you all how much stress i AM going through. Some advice or just some calming words will be appreciated. Thank you.

Keep on grinding, everyday…some days you might not get much time but still spend 30 minutes or more. It mayn’t add much from knowledge perspect but it’ll definitely add some gratification. Your mind will make you feel less guilty since you progressed at least. And also never forget that you’re in a great field, always strive to help people…

My heartfelt gratitude to you for choosing this profession. Never have I respected you guys so much like now. Where families are scared to visit their own parents or siblings you guys are their with them helping them heal. And I don’t think you are an average if you have already completed your MBBS. We need more people like you to save the world. You really don’t know how many blessings are showered on you right now for being in this profession. If you think of people like us, I know your soul would want to do more to this society. Just close your eyes think of people like us who are happily living with our families today because of you doctors. Am sure clearing exams is a smaller thing compared to the gratification you get for your job. We need more doctors who save society. Just a request, please don’t support institutions who are too much money minded at least in difficult times. Thank you for choosing this profession.

Hey. Thank you for the support. It’s true that we’re working days and nights in hospital giving our best. But if you all are also staying home and putting on a mask, you are no less than a hero. You’re helping us out in a lot of ways you don’t know. Thank you :) Thank you for sowing support specially during these tough times when mostly people are blaming us, abusing us and beating us up.

Hi,
You are thinking of the results and its stressing you.Stop thinking about it,and remove the fear of not performing well.select a small topic and just do that much and try to study in the morning,once we get into something we tend to finish it…the problem is to get started…so study first thing in the morning and your mind would be forced to finish the topic.Keep your mind clear bring clarity in all the thoughts which r causing your stress.
