Hi !!! I am a dentist and since a time I’ve known I really loved the idea of psychology and really wanted to pursue it. But because of family pressure I couldn’t take it up. But now I’ve joined for a distance education programme in psychology and I was so excited. But now I’m so worried because without any proper guidance I don’t know whether I’ll be able to make it. I don’t have any idea about psychology and I’m finding it really difficult to study . Don’t know if I’ll be able to do it . 😔

You can try to revive your interest in psychology by reading the Oxford’s very short introduction to psychology. It will give you perspective as to how to place your subject within the overall framework in the grand scheme of things. Also search Ali abdaal on YouTube. He is a Cambridge university doctor and he gives very helpful tips on how to learn theoretical subjects (especially medicine) he did a video on psychology as well. I think it’s titled how I got the second best grade in Cambridge exams or something like that… Hope this helps

I’m pursuing psychology too. Refer to Ciccarelli and Noland White’s books. Few websites include simplypsychology, verywellmind, lumenlearning. YouTube is of great help as well. Keep going, it’ll get better gradually. All the best😊
