Hey!
there is this guy i like . i did confess my feelings for him . he knew how i felt about him . but then covid came and i didnt see him for a very long time and then finally last year i found his instagram account and seeing his post i realised i still like him a lot. i liked evrything about him …cant say that he is perfect but im okay with each and every of his flaws. i felt so strong feelings for him that i even wrote a poem about him - about his eyes because i remember how i felt when i first time i looked into his eyes …it felt like the time has stopped , like only we two existed , i couldnt hear anything …i remember i had stopped breathing (i could feel it)…even though i know it was only for 1 minute but it felt like forever .
well back to the story , i still cant get over him … and i know that a lot time has passed and no one wants to be reminded of something that happened in the past (which i indirectly tried) but knowing that i cant have him makes me only like him more . i like his mere existance .
also at the same time , i have a bestfriend who has strong feelings for me . since he is my bestfriend i love him a lot too . he just wish that we could be something more than just friends …im not sure about it . i feel like since i like the other guy saying yes to him will be cheating and will be an act of dishonesty from my side .

You must follow your heart, trust your intuition. It could never fail.
In my experience, friendship is something really precious that it’s worth to pursue. Sometimes it doesn’t come back once you change it.
What can you do about the guy you like?

That’s what I am worried about what if i make a wrong decision and we don’t remsin bfs anymore .
Well, about the other guy… I really don’t know what to do about it . Leave it here or maybe just May be give it another try

I would recommend that you go for a shot with this guy you like and try to preserve the friendship with your bf. You’ll need much empathy and sensibility to not hurt his feelings.

I remember …that day he was talking to his dad on phone …so i just went up and I said “hey!can I talk to u for a second?” He Said yeah sure . So i told him how i felt …and he started blushing and smiled…like in a really cute way (shy type ig) n told me that he has seen me a few times around .so i just jokingly sid “that means u notice me😂” and he said no i dont …which ik he was lying because his smile and shyness gave the way .

I fell in love with my best friend. It wasn’t love at first sight. It happened gradually.
We have been together for 9 years now.
I’m not saying choose your best friend. I’m saying it’s possible to love your best friend. Sometimes we obsess over the wrong guy cause we are too stubborn to admit that we were wrong in choosing him. It can be anyone. You have a long ride and people find love in the strangest time.
Be patient and work on the relationships that are close to your heart.

I know its possible but what if things might go wrong because I don’t want to be the reason as to y my best friend got hurt .
Maybe I am not thinking about it clearly .
I am working on my relationship and sticking close to the people who r really close to my heart ☺☺
He told me he likes me and asked me to date him. At first I was hesitant cause if anything goes wrong I’ll lose my best friend, possibly forever.
But then again if I had said no he would’ve moved on and found love elsewhere and I would’ve maybe lost him anyway.
What made me say yes was that when I thought about he situation and the future I felt like I would regret not giving it a try.
For me personally not knowing how it would’ve turned out would’ve been tragic.
I was willing to deal with the consequences of my actions. Luckily I didn’t have to cause I fell in love with him too.
You’re right. If you’re sure you can’t ever have feelings for him it’s best of you just tell him directly and help him move on from you.
