I am studying engineering
I got my 5th sem results…I failed in one subject…I will apply for revaluation…I need 6 marks to pass…the classes were totally online due to pandemic…I have never failed in any subjects till now …this is the first time …I’m feeling totally wired…I am afraid to tell my parents…I can’t give them reasons bkx I feel they work hard for my sake and this is the first time ever even for them to hear this from me… what should I do…hope I’ll pass in revaluation…
Hey. Firstly, relax. It’s not the end of the world. I was also an engineering student and yes some students do get lower marks but it’s ok. Don’t be scared. Just tell your parents truthfully. And work hard next time.
It’s good to tell them yourself instead of them knowing from someone else.
Don’t take it to heart. And work hard and see where you lack and you will do better next time.

Hey, I’m sure you will pass. But most importantly failing a paper does not mean you are a failure. We know how our education system works. Marks do not really measure our capability. But unfortunately it is needed to apply for colleges/jobs. Even then there are N number of examples were successful people did not do that well in academics.
You failing a paper does not mean you disappointed your parents. I’m sure they’ll understand and support you. We are in a pandemic. Not everything will go as we hoped.
