Hello People…Hope you all are having a very nice day😀
This is going to be my first post…I dont know where to start form…But I cant’t keep all this feelings inside me anymore now…so Here it is
He is my college friend. We were a group of 5-6 people very close friends …wld always hang out together just like any other normal group wld do. He use to irritate and tease me a lot…always joking around. During College we use to talk and play games a lot… but other than that we never talk or chat on any social media platform until and unless if anything was important…College is over now since last two years…and we communicate only when our whole group is planning to meet somewhere that too once in 4-5 months. Now whenever he texts me… He just flirts ! I know he is already a Flirt…so I took it casually too. And when we all do meet…he is somewhat extra protective towards me…always around me.
But then this guy now started dropping a lot of indirect hints as if he has some feelings for me….He says he misses me and want to meet me…spend some time together… He was not like this before…and never talked like this before. I can feel his behaviour has changed towards me… ( I dnt understand what to think ). And whenever he thinks our conversation is getting even a bit serious…he immediately backs off…and never texts again for some months straight…( Now wth is this ? )
I do have other guy best friends too…but they never talk in this way…
Can this be just Infatuation ? Is he just joking around ? I am confused as hell ! What do I do ? I am tired of overthinking…We are not even in regular touch…but this guy has messed up my head !
The more I decide not to think of him…the more I end up keep thinking of him…(ok I agree I might have a lil bit of crush too…but I am not sure)
I am damn sure if I ask him directly what he is upto…He would definitly deny everyhting saying he is just kidding as usual !
This situation might be common for some of you …isn’t it?
Somebody tell me where all this is heading? Or I am just overthinking ?
Bcz all this is giving me super anxiety now…and I cant even focus on any task I do…

Relax girl it happens but see he never talk serious for things that me means he is still confused and don’t want to committee anything before getting sure so he is taking his time

These are textbook tricks for talking to your love interest and mess up their head (and it is working) . Pretty lame behavior. Its sad that many people see this as the right and in fact the only way to talk to the girl/boy you’re interested in
You have to decide what is your goal here
If you want to stay friends, try not to pay much attention to it. Just reciprocate with the same effort he puts with you
i’m going through a similar stage right now, this girl i matched on tinder, we used to talk a lot and then things died down. Now out of the blue she has started sending memes, funny videos on instagram. No texts, just memes. And that too once or twice a day, really long time in between the messages. No response to my texts either. She’s just playing so i do the same too. Send random memes. If i overthink, that is what she wants. I distract myself from her (not easy at times!)
The way you’re saying, how he back off for months, i think he’s just playing. He probably does the same with plenty girls. Insecure people do that
And if you want to take things a step further then you can flirt back occasionally, seeing how he responds and talk to him. He’ll probably run away and if he stays, that’s a win win situation :)
