Hello,
I came here because I really want to figure out what is wrong with me. I recently experienced a shocking situation. After that, I feel numb. No tears. Absolutely no tears. My heart feels heavy and beats fast, all day. I’m just masking it for everyone at home. And at night, there is a burning sensation, literal burning sensation in my chest with fast heart beat. I suddenly wake up in the middle of the night. And then console myself to sleep. I’m also unable to concentrate and focus at any task. But apart from that I’m fine I’m not irritated, I laugh at jokes. All good. What has happened to me? How to overcome it?

Masking or concealing things or the incident will never help…you need to speak your heart to someone who can help you finding a probable solution to this situation…it can be a family member, a close friend, a professional or someone here on this platform who can help you resolve this conflicting situation!!

Hey! Thank you! But honestly the incident makes no difference now. What is over is over. But I want to get over with the after effects. It’s affecting my appetite, my mental and emotional health. I have described a part of it above. I’m fine but certain thoughts about the incident keep running which I think is causing all the problems. I just want to be healthy again.

In that case you must focus on finding what that incident taught you, nothing is so important that you’ll give up your mental health or compromise with your appetite (which is the first priority) for it… Everything happens for a reason and we need to find the reason and not keep on thinking about the problem…Just try and evaluate the situation like if it would have happened at later stage in your life how would you feel then, if it has happened now it has saved a lot of time…This is just a way as I’m not aware of the actual situation/incident that you have been through(won’t push if you don’t wish to share)!!

Please don’t compromise with your diet or mental health…try and find the root cause of the problem to find its solution…whether this problem is related to a person or specific situation you’ll find the solution soon if you have a calm mind!!

Thank you! I’m not sharing the situation because it’s over now. There is no point. There is no solution. It’s over. I just want to control my brain to stop thinking about it. It’s impossible to sleep too. But yeah, thank you for the advice. I had almost given up on myself. I did learn. A LOT. Now I have to trust myself again. Brain and heart have to co operate lol.

I’m trying. Really hard. To eat well. To breathe normally. Sometimes it happens. And sometimes the uneasy feeling strikes again. I feel like I can’t accomplish anything in life. I plan tasks but never execute. I should start working on the tasks first, then my brain will stop repeating my thoughts. But to get to start the task itself is a real challenge. I loose there itself. I can’t let myself do that. My chest is burning while writing this itself. But once again, Thank you.

Your brain and heart will do their respective tasks which they are actually designed for!! You just need to get yourself busy in something productive, something you love to do and gradually things will fall in place and you’ll be the real you again 😊 You can get in touch with any general physician who’ll recommend you a tonic so that your appetite increases and your body will ask you for more food😂 Have lots of chocolates and dry fruits specially (walnuts) that will help you to control your mind a lot
