Hope you all are doing well.
I am a 26 year old unmarried women. I have been into 3 relationships and I have been cheated on by mean in all the relationships. Now , I am with someone new and I have this constant fear of getting cheated on. Even I got to know a few days Back that this guy also lied to me about his ex and was talking to her when we were together. He apologized to me for that and now we are together. He never refuses when I check his phone or ask for any screenshots. But I have this constant fear for getting cheated, again. I don’t know how to over come this. This is ruining our relationship.
Can anybody help?.
Hey, trust is really important i n any relationship, i know its hard for you to trust someone after whatever you ve been through but you will have to overcome the fears and trust this guy or anyother person you be with in the future.
But how should I? How should I control the negative thoughts about him cheating on me stop??
You know, to be honest i dont know for sure, i didnt have a similar situation as yours but i used to have a lot of negative thoughts earlier, still do sometimes but a lot lesser. When I know that the negative thoughts are highly unproductive and i cant do anything about it, i think about something else, focus more on my work maybe, talk to friends & family or do something productive instead. There is no textbook solution to the question but you ll figure it out!
