Having a examweek at school. Tomorrow is the last day, but because of corona I just can’t find my motivation and concentration. I’m already staring 3 hours at my desk and I haven’t done anything yet. Every minute I look at the clock I feel more stress but i still can’t start learning. I’m desperate for social activity because of Covid I just have a boring life and there is a heavy lockdown with curfew in my country so I can’t look forward to my weekends no more. All I feel is stress lately and I just don’t know how to handle it. Does anyone have some advice on how to handle it?

Okay so I know how you are feeling at this point, and even though I can’t give you some solid help but I’ll try. Well you can try and take a day or 2 days break. During this time don’t think about your studies or don’t think that you have exams coming. Given everything you are going through you need this break. It might increase your productivity. Taking a two days break is better than continuously sitting there and staring out in space, you will be wasting a lot if time in your future. Take this break, I hope it helps you. And do some exercise or meditation or go for small walks, meet your friends . Try this maybe it will help. I hope it does help you. :)))

Thanks for your advice!! But my problem is that I need to pass these exams because they’re very important and my parents are really involved with my school which makes it a lot harder because the constant pressure never ends. As soon as I’m home from school my parents start pressuring me about school and I feel like it never stops. I wish I could just go to bed and sleep but I only have one change on this exam and I can’t fail it.

Okay so what I’m getting from this is that its time you have a calm conversation with your parents. They should understand that the pressure you are under is very overwhelming, and if this continues you won’t be able to give your 100% in your exam. Parents can be overbearing some times . Trust me i get it , I’m an Indian , so who knows about overbearing parents better than me!!! But when it got too much I honestly told them that they need to stop! I’m not a child anymore and I can clear my exams without them being so annoying ( of course these weren’t my exact words, but you get the point). I got to hear their side also. What I’m saying is that talk to them and if they don’t understand, pardon my language, fuck them, they are your parents and they should understand. Honey its your mental health, it is above everything even your exams and also your parents. And most importantly are these exams important for you or for your parents ??? Trust its not worth passinf this exam if you aren’t doing it for yourself!!! I hope you get what you want and please take care. And do some yoga or meditation!!!😀😀
