Have you ever been in a situation where you just feel helpless? I’ve been having issues with my boyfriend turned fiancé of 10 years (multiple breakups), and don’t know how to handle them. He is expressing that he regrets wasting so much time being a part of this relationship in past and want to start a fresh now. He is unable to let go of past and is starting to have feeling of regret that he continued to be a part of this relationship because he can’t overcome the past (multiple breakups) we had. I’ve tried to make him understand that unless he let’s go of past, the issues will never end.
I can understand ur problem take time to think about it and just don’t bring past which have pain so just try to solve by talking and spending time try to explain him about how u feel about him just be honest cuz loving is easy but keeping the relationship and taking responsibility is hard
Yes, I told him to let go of the past and think about the present and coming future. But he says he can’t let go of the past and because of which he is not sure if can be a part of the relationship anymore. I don’t know at this point if I should stay and understand what he is feeling and be there for him as a partner, because this is affecting my mental health about which I can’t even share with him. I don’t want to take a fast decision and break off the engagement but also don’t want to feel like I’m forcing him to be part of this relationship because we have been together for such a long time.
Some times it takes time but if he doesn’t sure about u then let him go cuz relationship should be with understanding so just see if he wants to go then let him go cuz u can’t force or plea them to stay so just let him go if he wants too
