Has anyone else’s birth control made their period worse? I’ve been on it for 2 months now and my period was never bad and I never had cramps until I started birth control and now my cramps are so bad I can’t move and my periods and super heavy

On top of that all too I start cramping like 2 weeks before my period actually starts 

Yes it happens...it has happened with my friend..take care..it will be okay within next few months

Period questions I’m too embarrassed to ask my mom about:

Is it normal for your period to smell kind of like pickle juice or something like that? Can’t quite place it but it’s somewhere similar.

Is it normal to have a period that sometimes lasts 12 days or more?

Is it normal to have a really heavy flow but no cramps?

Is it normal to have really dark brown or red flow one day and bright red the next?

Is it normal to get several (small) clots a day?

Is it bad that my flow can sometimes get so heavy that when I go to the bathroom it just forms a steady stream of blood into the toilet for about 15 seconds?

Is it normal to wake up and realize that during the night it got smeared around so much that it managed to get on your buttcheeks?

Can you still m@sturb@te on your period without getting it everywhere?

I have several more questions but they’re way too embarrassing, definitely asking this anonymously…

My sister is having pre menopause and she is only 22 yrs old. Idk it hurts, we haven't told her yet. It hurts. 

Periods!!

I was laughing on lame jokes the one moment
Crying on stupid things the other moment
Laying on my bed the next moment
Holding my stomach the other moment.
Feeling happiest now, what's next
Next comes feeling ugliest.
Why am I changing my mood so quickly ?
Because I got my periods recently. 

Yes those cramps feel bad
And I behave like a lazy lad.
But the thing I hate the most are those absurd ads
Where they show that blue colour
Though  I feel blue 
But I bleed red
Am I suppose to tell them even that ? 

No I don't crave for extra attention 
Neither do I want any kind of detention 
All I want is the menstrual products to be sold for free
Just like the oxygen of the tree.

3am Thoughts

Currently in one of those moments where you are feeling extremely not okay, exhausted, sad and what not. Nothing is wrong in my life that way. Might be a phase might be because I just got my periods and feeling this way. But what's worst is that I don't know what will put me in ease. Everyone feeling like this today or anyday, I hope it gets better for us soon ❣️

Exhausted

I didn't use to have my period for a stretch of 6 months. Doctors hinted that I might have PCOD. The only solution was weight loss and I lost a lot for weight to get in shape and get my hormones working fine again.
