I feel like shit. Basically I feel like I might be non binary so I did lots of research and found that its probably true, but i cant come out ever. I feel like my internalized transphobia from my peers and family around me is making me feel invalid enough to come as part of the 2slgbtqa+. I have a friend who is trans, and he come out to me 1 year ago. He heavily trusted me and we even picked out a new name for him. I think about him a lot but I cant get his deadname out of my head and I scared that If i see him, Imma call him his dead name and he will no longer trust me. I don't know what to do, my parents are always using his deadname around me so maybe that's it?, but it feels no matter how hard I try to get rid on my internalized transphobia it comes back to haunt me. I also noticed I only have a problem with him as I've meet so many other people part of the Trans community and haven't thoughts these transphobic thoughts. I got to a very religious school so its very rare are someone to come as part of the 2slgbtqa+ community. Someone from my school actually come out today but since school already ended I don't know how the school is going to react. I do have friends from my other school, who aren't homophobic and would heavily accept me but I feel like I don't belong to them anymore as I left them for a new school. (Sorry my grammar is shit, hope you can understand if someone reads this) I don't know what to do, I just need advise? help???? Any tips??

Coming Out

I'm gay. I know I'm gay. 100% lesbian. And I want to come out to my parents, but it's not like I'm going to be dating anyone anytime soon, so what's the point? I just really need to get it off my chest. Then again, I'm only in 6th grade. What do I do?

How do you come out to friends? like when i came out to my close friends i was like "oh yeah btw i'm genderfluid and gay LMAO" but I can't really do that to others. I'm thinking of saying 

"I've wanted to tell you this for a while. I'm tired of living in secret because of what people might think of me. I'm tired of being in fear of losing you guys. I realize if people love you can actually care for you, they'll not care who you are or how you identify. I know you guys love me and care for me and i wanna live my truth. I'm not a girl. I am living as a boy from now on :) i hope you accept me. And my name is no longer [dead name here] it's Aphrodite, bennie, or hoonie :)"

Self Harm

I've never really told anyone this before but I really struggle with the idea of being gay. I've always known that I was gay for the most longest time now, actually I would say since I was a kid but once I turned eighteen I've struggled a lot with myself and my identity and who I am in this world because it's hard having to be a gay person especially in this day and age. Actually it's hard to be anyone in general but when you put the label "gay" in the equation that's when it becomes more complicated

Behind closed doors I'm as gay as I want and by that I mean I do watch gay movies and I do watch gay people and all but in real life I don't really feel that gay if you get what I mean. It's hard to just fully express myself and fully be that expressive gay person. Maybe it's easier for others but not for me. Nothing has really been that easy for me and it feels like I've struggled so much in the past and a lot of those struggles are usually mental struggles and I'm always at war with myself

I know that once I get out of my own head I'll probably have a lot more fun but as for right now I don't really know how to have fun the proper way because I'm usually a depressing mess and I never know what the hell to do in life in general.  I know for a fact that if I accepted myself then maybe I would've been a lot more free and a lot more comfortable in my own skin right now but since that's not really the case, I guess I have to just suffer a whole lot more until the day I finally decide to actually be myself a bit more. 

I hate the saying "be yourself". Whenever someone says that it really irritates the shit out of me. It makes me hella mad and I just get really agitated. As if "being yourself" is the most easiest thing in the world. It's not easy and it takes a lot to be the full authentic you these days. It's not as easy as some people might think especially when your culture hasn't been the most open-minded people ever and so now it feels like you constantly struggle because of that. 

Throughout my childhood all I heard was gay jokes and a lot of these jokes were extremely homophobic and I guess at the time I didn't really think of them as that offensive but at the same time I very much record not even laughing at all because I knew the person who they were mocking was really just me. Obviously it wasn't like they knew I was gay or maybe probably some people thought that but I don't really know or do I care what others think of me to be honest because I'm sure people will have their own opinions inside their heads whether you like it or not so I don't really give a shit about that

But having to live with your own bad opinions about gay people is actually even harder because you are essentially criticising yourself everyday and that's never a good thing. I wouldn't say that I'm openly homophobic nor do I actually hate myself that much but it's just that over the years I've formed my opinions about certain things and also I hate the fact that I associate being gay as being "weak" or as being "not man enough". Mentally it has caused me a lot of pain because of it. Of course I'm aware that that's not the case at all and gay men are actually men but sometimes it's hard for me to unlearn what's I've already learnt in the past.i want to try so badly to be more open and more free about myself but it's really not easy. It's actually extremely hard to tell yourself to be that person for some reason. 

I can't even say the word "gay" out loud. That's how ashamed of it I am. I don't know why It's so shameful because I get that it's just a part of me and that this shouldn't even be a big deal but somehow I always end up making it such a massive deal for some odd reasons. I hate how I do that because it doesn't help me whatsoever. It actually makes it feel worse.

I don't even talk to my family about my homosexuality because it's not a topic I grew up talking about. It's not something that I would just say out loud. 

Maybe in the past I came out to some people and that was great for me at the time Because I felt so free to just be me But then over the years the older I get the more I was just closing myself off and it was harder and harder for me to reveal my own truth. 

It's not even that I dont trust people but it's just that I want to talk to people and talk to people about those personal things but at the same time i have to actually talk to someone who completely gets me and who deeply understand what it's like to be gay in secret.

I hate that I feel like I have to hide myself because at the end of the day it shouldn't be that hard to love and embrace yourself and yet it is which is really frustrating.
