Guys!! I keep thinking about deaths of my family members. For eg: my father.
Saying things like you’re just overthinking and just chill and relax don’t help. So can someone please tell me how to over come this? Coz this gives me serious anxiety and I need help.

Divert your mind…whenever any negative kind of thought you get…just start thinking positive or start doing something which makes you feel positive…and what i feel is you should start listening to good and positive affirmations in the morning…becoz the very first thought you crest in the morning is very important…so just try to show gratitude towards universe or listen to affirmations…compliment yourself…start your day with a good thought❤

Hey, you are not alone. I think about this all the time. When my dad is travelling via planes, I am not relieved till he calls and says he has landed because what if there’s a crash. I just keep thinking about people’s death and create this huge scenario. So I can understand how you must feel when it happens but you are not able to understand why. For that you have to go to the root cause, my father used to travel on bike. He had one major accident with a truck when I was kid and then he kept having minor ones as I grew up. So that’s where my fear is from. Sit and reflect, when you are in a better state try to address it, why do I have these thoughts, any childhoods issues or trauma, witnessing death in the family, insecurities, fear of losing closed ones, it can be anything.
Therapy has also helped me a lot and when I discussed with her this exact issue, she told me instead of worrying about when the person will be gone, use that time to instead spend time with that person and make memories. Call them up when you think about them, reassure yourself, keep saying to yourself, they are right here, nothing is going to happen them, text the person to check on them. You are not alone, you have people who go through this like me and you also have people who really love you, who are here with you so go make happy memories with them in real instead of sad fictional ones in your mind
