Got to know one of my friends is an intern at L&T. People be getting internships at such good conpanies here im not even being called back by any.
How does others get good opportunities and not me. I felt like a loser today. I ask people for help and they turn their back at me or their just helpless.
Do lemme know if theres any oppurtunity i should know of pls.

Put up a post on LinkedIn na that you’re searching for Intern opportunities. The hiring for interns has just picked up
I thot of that but how will i know if the people approaching me for job are trustworthy? Does it work tjat way?
If they directly start talking about the job, they’re professional. There’ll hardly be a few people (1 in 10000) or so, who’ll behave like they’re on Tinder.
And for them, you can always firmly tell them to be professional or make them LinkedIn famous.
Additionally, LinkedIn has it’s own job portal. Choose your preferences and you’ll be able to see which companies are hiring.

Dude cold emailing reallly works. Search thoroughly about a company you are applying to. Search more about the person whom you wanna approach. Customise your email/ message accordingly. Connect with him/ her via LinkedIn. Highlight your achievements in the email so much so that he doesn’t need to download your resume. Basically write a good cover letter. Try to make a personal connect. Be optimistic. And do this loads of times. You will be called for at least a few interviews. Trust me. Cold emailing works.
