Everyone is going through something or the other and they start doubting themselves. They feel worthless and hopeless at some point in time. One of the major reasons for us to feel depressed is when this sense of comparison hits us. We imagine ourselves to be a part of this illusionary rat race. We tend to desire for what we do not possess and fail to appreciate what we are blessed with.

Let’s do a simple task that will help us to reflect upon ourselves and be grateful for who we are. Let’s mention at least 3 things that we are grateful for in our lives. This may not be as easy as it sounds cause this will push you to think and do some self-introspection. But trust me it’s worth it. I’ll go first.

I am grateful for:
1. The family I’m born in. They love me unconditionally
2. Financial stability - provides me food, clothing, and shelter which so many people can’t even afford
3. Good health which keeps me up and running
