Does working out improve self-esteem? I want to know. I have been feeling a lot worse lately. My self-esteem has reached its bottom line, and I want to fix it.
Every appreciation I receive sounds like assurance to me. Assurance that I will get to the point where I will get truly appreciated, but I am not there just yet. Even when people say they are genuinely praising me for something, there is always a voice in the back of my head that always telling me, βThey are just nice and donβt want to hurt your feelings, thatβs why they are praising you.β
I am always aware of how I look and how I am presenting myself, and I feel like itβs never good enough. I have read in an article that working out makes people more confident. Will it help me out in this matter too? I really need to work on my low self-esteem.

working out does boost your endorphins (happy hormones) and can make you feel less tired etc. But only work out because you want a healthy, happy body, not because you want to lose weight etc, these are just happy side-effects! If you want to boost your self-esteem I recommend changing up your style, hair, makeup, challenging yourself like through reading, helping people etc. but also make sure you take some time for you! take yourself on a date, do the things you love, treat yourself! sending your positive energy, good luck! x
