Confused about relationship status is an issue of the 21st century because we people changed the meaning of relationships in our life. and I am very confused about my relationship status. Who doesn’t want a healthy and good relationship in life? and the shape my relationship is taking don’t know where it goes. I am very confident about what I am bringing into this relationship but the issue is with my boyfriend. and because of this, I am feeling desperate. Investing in a guy for so long and still confused about relationship status then I don’t think this is a good sign of a healthy and happy relationship. And it won’t work for a longer time if all the commitments are only from one side. And if I am making continuous efforts to keep our relationship happy and alive then it’s my right to except the same from my partner. because it won’t work if it is one-sided. Don’t know how to deal with it very very confused. Is anyone here who is going through the same thing or faced this ever in your relationship then please help me to deal with it. I love him so much and I don’t want to lose him but the way he is taking this relationship is not a good sign. What I want is a happy and healthy relationship and hope I get. And I’m honest about myself. And the excuses he is making to end this is bullshit and disrespectful also.

You should tell him what you are going through and this is serious. If he doesn’t change or put any efforts in then leave.
It doesn’t matter how long you have been together. Even if you are together for 4 years that doesn’t mean you have to be together for next 40 years with that unhappiness.
Please ask him to talk with you and ask him where his problem is! Talking helps a lot. What ever be the reply from him be ready to take it. You can find a solution to this. Ask him not to avoid the topic even if he is not interested ask him to speak. Make it a better conversation by taking it slow. Hope it might help .

Just to and talk the problem your are facing with him. But also have a look do both have a proper understanding bcaz they may be situation where love language differs from person to person. Just know this point also that’s is also important. May be he too loves you alot and is unable to express or has different ways which you don’t understand. So try to have conversation den come to a point. That will help alot to improve relationship is their is something missing.

Time doesn’t define a relationship but efforts do.
Try opening up about your issues and communicate what your going through.
Also if you feel like you’re the one whose putting in all the efforts maybe it’s time to pull back a little and reduce the amount of effort your putting in.
I won’t suggest to break up right away because that’s too simple and the repercussions would be well mindnumbingly painful for you.
Although if things don’t change after 3 to 4 months, it’s best to give yourself a change and walkout of the situation.
