Bottling up the stress, negative emotions for a time then letting them out makes you speak nonsensical things for some reason. It makes you look stupid. I’m regretting everything that I said back there, even though I was trying to justify myself.

It’s fine, as long as the person you vented to is a trusted friend (who wouldn’t use the info in a bad way) or a one-time person (whom you would never see again)
