I can completely relate to this post. Just, don’t ever go denying the love you have just because it doesn’t come in the shape or form you expect. The love of a mother is resilient, ever forgiving. The love of a teacher is hopeful, they saw your strengths and dreams, way before you realized they were in there. Grandparents are confidants of exciting secrets, and if there is ever a materialization of being loved and accepted just for who you are, those are friends, the people who choose to be with you, even when we are not very lovable. I know it sometimes feel like you don’t know love because you haven’t felt that “tender touch” of a lover. You know love, you receive and give love everyday, and when we see love surrounding us, then it is easier to find that “warm loving touch” because we realize it has always been there. There are not better or more important loves than other, love is love.
