LinkedIn is basically instagram of engineers, it is a platform for sharing your success like, publication of research paper, patents, degree, etc. Sharing about starting new jobs, new experience gained, finding a job/internship.
It’s a good platform for maximizing your connections, which will help you alot.

it is just like any other social platform…it is not that tough to understand…
its better to be specific abt the question…i mean what to do actually want to know in linkedin
