I know how it feels, to supress the feeling completely and to be scared to get your heart broken again but in this current day and age it’s very difficult to find a strong connection with someone. Both parties should be willing to put in the time and effort in a relationship to make it last. If you really think being in a relationship will make you happy, try putting yourself out there. I’m sure someone will come along who will appreciate you for who you are and will want to put in the time and effort to build the relationship.
