It’s been a long time since I opened up and I really needed a platform like this.
I’ll just start without hesitation. So, I dated this guy but we ended things last year. Somehow we managed to remain friends. We quickly started to talk a lot and again I got into the habit of talking to him. Now he is still my go to person and I genuinely love him, more than I can ever express . I have been in a bad state and nothing brings me happiness and peace except for him. They way he treats me made me feel like I’m special. Then he started talking to this girl who is extremely smart and he used to talk a lot about her. Gradually, he didn’t give me the kind of attention he did earlier. Then one day he told me that he liked her . That ofc broke me because I was under the impression that we are more then friends . Anyway, me and my family had covid and both my parents are still in the hospital. Since I was alone , he stepped in and took care of me. He’s been supporting me a lot and even makes me feel like we’re more than friends. He wasn’t speaking to that girl in this period. Anyway, that girl texted him again and they began talking.  Yesterday since I’ve been emotionally drained and when I got to know that they’re talking again it scared me and made me feel like he will chose her so I told him everything and shared how I felt about him. Then I got to know that he has told that girl he liked her. This news has shaken me up. I am always anxious , I can’t do anything. My hands are cold . I just don’t know what I should do to make myself feel better. I hate changes, especially with him. I have been with him since 2018 and he still started liking someone else. He isn’t wrong but I cannot deal with this. I feel like I’ve been rejected and abandoned . I cannot stop talking to him , he has to leave this place for college and I don’t want to ruin our friendship because of what I feel.
I’m sorry there might be many typos since I am not in a good headspace.
