After a long heavy breathe I am finally writing this . I am a doctor and often feel like I dont fit in with my profession .This is the profession I have dreamt of and finally I made it through the graduation . Have been an average student . I panic just looking at the size of the books and the content I have to read. Not always very happy with the group studies because it might end up making me feel like I dont know anything . Preparing for NEET PG 2021 has been so stressful despite learning very little. But this Pandemic gave me an opportunity to slow down and reflect on myself . I started understanding what I like and dislike. Although I feel like I dont belong in this profession , I cant stop picturing myself one day giving lectures, treating people and constantly learning doc. Are there any doctors around who feel the same ? Or is it just me!
Hey! Don’t really know about the doctors, but I sure as hell can relate to you. It’s not easy, it never is. I’m planning for MBA and I don’t even know if this is what I wanna do, but the picture of me working in a big corporate firm makes it all bearable. MBA mai I’m so stressed, can’t imagine what NEET would be doing to you, but let me tell you you are not alone. Everyone around you feels the same way, and not just in profession or in studies, but life in general. Till the time you are sure that that’s the future you want for yourself, it will keep you going. And I know on some days that is not enough, so you need other things to motivate you. That could be not letting it overpower or affect your sanity, talking about what you feel(venting out basically to anyone, we are always here for you), communicating, and MOST IMPORTANTLY not being so harsh on yourself and giving yourself a break every now and then. I’m sure you’ll be successful, you got this!
I hope I helped, take care and let me know how it goes <3

Thank you 😊
I can totally correlate with this. I have been preparing for UPSC since 2017 and this year it was my 3rd attempt. I am feeling so tired and overwhelmed that now I feel I should give up this exam.I try to remember things, but they just don’t get into my mind anymore. Day by day, I am getting underconfident and I don’t know what the future looks like. I have a degree in Engineering, but I am apprehensive in going back to the education field. Family is now talking about marriage and I feel that I have wasted my education, my parents dreams and aspirations. I have totally lost my passion for this exam.

Yeah I heard UPSC is a tough exam . We have a lifetime to live right ! We are taking these exams as a life or death situations and the family pressure too is overwhelming. But this is the time we have to take a step back and think of all the possibilities in our career paths . Atleast that is a reasonable thing to do right ?! Do let me know when finally find your perfect career path and All the best to you 🙂
Hey dude im here.im also a doc with same anixety and fear its quiet natural to feel soo during giving a competitive exam so chill while i was giving neet pg i was at the same situation see u might have fear that u cannt complete the syllabus in time or something but the thing is instead of wasting time thinking how to complete the syllabus just start studying graph will slowly reaches peaks and remember keep on revising the topics u r strong than worrying abt topics u r weak everything fall ls in place and coming to the fear am i fit for this profession see no one is perfect and in our profession practice and experience make u good doc not bookish knowledge so as u have just completed graduation that feeling exist will i be able to treat patients but yeah just start being thankful and greatful one day u will realise the power of it .just start being thankful and greatful miracles happen so stop worrying dude
